Sai Jaya Youth Initiative Trust

The Saraswathi Educational Cultural and Charitable Trust works closely with the SaiJaya Youth Initiative Trust, an organization formed by high caliber professionals to contribute to the development of youth from very poor backgrounds in the city of Delhi.


The Managing Trustee is V.M.KAUL who has 39 years experience in Sales and Marketing and 8 years in teaching underprivileged children. Dr.C.K.Gariyali is the Vice President who retired as Secretary, Social Welfare, TamilNadu Government.

She has written a book "Amma model of Governance" Ms. Meera Khanna is the General Secretary. She is Vice President at Guilds International and her work has been presented at the UN, Namrata Kaul is Managing Director at Deutshe Bank and on the Governing Board of CARE foundation.

The Saijaya Trust is currently running a "Speak English with Confidence programme" for 22 underprivileged children with Nirmal Sewa. The objectives include developing soft skills in children, Training them for Sports, skill development and etiquette.

Mr.V.M. KAUL was General Secretary of Shanti Sahyog-A Gandhian NGO dedicated to serving the underprivileged in the areas of Education, Health, Women empowerment, Skill development and Vocational Training.


Ms. Meera Khanna is part of Guilds that runs Rahatghar-an institution for orphan children in Kashmir, old widows home in Vrindavan and several self help groups.


SAIJAYA YOUTH INITIATIVE TRUST‘S strength is the expertise and experience available in training children. The main aim of the trust is skill development with an eye on employment is the need of the hour. A skilled child can earn well and take his family out from the Poverty Cycle.


The intend taking up the following 4 skills:

  1. English Conversation with Personality development- Conquering fear.
  2. Marketing that includes teaching basic selling skills and customer handling.
  3. Customer Support and IT-to give basic knowledge of using computers as an aid at your work place.
  4. Driving Skills with an emphasis to create Women Drivers.

THE TARGET GROUP: The children of the school who are in the age Group 14 to 16 years and preparing for class X. Past alumni of school who have passed class XII Siblings of our children who are not in school but currently unemployed.
